PPa would say she's a little like her PMa...For those of you from Searcy - I'm sure you already know about Brian Luke Johnson. Brian was the 27 year old son of Bill (Billy Bass) and Betty Johnson. He died this year (from MRSA/Staph infection), leaving behind his pregnant wife, Mary, and 2 year old daughter Kaitlyn. She has now had her 2nd child Kennedy, without him. They were both in college (Harding University and it was horrible. His wife Mary wrote an article to the Daily Citizen (Thursday, June 26 page 4 A titled Reader needs help - for those of you who read online) asking for everyone's help in winning a scholarship online. If she gets the most votes, she'll win $4,000 and for every vote she is entered into a drawing for $1,000 scholarship. This doesn't sound like much money - but she really wants and needs it. It only takes a few minutes to set up an account to vote, and if you can save it on your computer and vote daily - I know she can win. Please do this. I have sat down and talked to her, and she has debt and bills and this could really boost her spirits - which she really needs.
It's really hard to not just talk all about Kati. She does and says the funniest things. Now - she has an imaginary friend - Hunter. Not Hunter our dog, Hunter her friend from school. She talks to him and we fix him lunch. She just started this yesterday. He isn't just imaginary, he really exists. He is at school 3 days a week with her. We all had pancakes and sausage at home this morning! YUM!

Playing catch.
In the shade with Nanny and PawPaw.

I'm not sure who all reads the blog - but if you leave a message - leave your name so I will know who to thank!!! I got a sweet message from someone and I don't know who to thank!
I'm not sure how often anybody checks this, but it is May 6, 2008 and P Ma took some great pictures of Kati!!! She's a performer for sure when it comes to her songs! She's a little teapot in this picture. I'm just stating a fact - she's adoreable! That may be the Mommy talking, but I'm just saying - Beautiful, amazing, funny, smart. I'm amazed every day at the things she does and can remember. She can say the Pledge of Allegiance all by herself!!!! She is a magnet with information!!! We are SO blessed to have her!
I won't be blogging for a while. I don't have time to keep it up, and I am sad to say, I don't have much to say. I do have some good pictures from Kati's 3rd birthday. I will try to update pictures from time to time, but I probably won't type much. We had 2 parties for Kati turning 3... a Dora party at school (which I didn't remember to take my camera to) and a Princess Party at the Park. I will put a few pictures now, and maybe more later. It was COLD at the park, but I know Kati had FUN! Have a great day! Jami
