Kati wants a little sister! hint hint!

Kati posing. She doesn't do it much, but this day she did. (taken in October)

Not up to Christmas pictures yet am I?

I'll have Christmas pictures out soon. : )

Trampoline

Kati Loves to jump!

Weight limit is 100 lbs. So Kati will be the only one jumping! It won't be in our living room for long. We've got to find a new home for the trampoline!

Take time please... More on Kati with pictures later.

For those of you from Searcy - I'm sure you already know about Brian Luke Johnson. Brian was the 27 year old son of Bill (Billy Bass) and Betty Johnson. He died this year (from MRSA/Staph infection), leaving behind his pregnant wife, Mary, and 2 year old daughter Kaitlyn. She has now had her 2nd child Kennedy, without him. They were both in college (Harding University and it was horrible. His wife Mary wrote an article to the Daily Citizen (Thursday, June 26 page 4 A titled Reader needs help - for those of you who read online) asking for everyone's help in winning a scholarship online. If she gets the most votes, she'll win $4,000 and for every vote she is entered into a drawing for $1,000 scholarship. This doesn't sound like much money - but she really wants and needs it. It only takes a few minutes to set up an account to vote, and if you can save it on your computer and vote daily - I know she can win. Please do this. I have sat down and talked to her, and she has debt and bills and this could really boost her spirits - which she really needs.

Here's all you have to do... go to www.whyideserveascholarship.com then click on LOGIN in the top of the page, then click on Green word Signup - which will take you to set up a profile - (takes less than a minute - promise)

Then click on Most Votes - her video - titled "widowed w/ 2 beautiful children" and it was #4 today. Under the video is the 5 stars... click on 5 stars and that's how you vote.

Feel free to email me if you can't get it and I'll help you.

Memorial Day and all about Kati!

It's really hard to not just talk all about Kati. She does and says the funniest things. Now - she has an imaginary friend - Hunter. Not Hunter our dog, Hunter her friend from school. She talks to him and we fix him lunch. She just started this yesterday. He isn't just imaginary, he really exists. He is at school 3 days a week with her. We all had pancakes and sausage at home this morning! YUM!

Here she is playing in the front yard as Daddy waxes his truck and Nanny and PawPaw watch. :)

Here she is smelling the beautiful flowers. Daddy redid our landscaping this year. It looks really good. I'll post a picture next time of the whole front area. Looks great!

Playing catch.

In the shade with Nanny and PawPaw.

I made strawberry punchbowl cake! Anything with fresh strawberries is my FAVORITE!!! I LOVE STRAWBERRIES!!! I'm so excited!!! I'm going to shop for a new washer and dryer. Have a wonderful Memorial Day! Love to all!

Kati's a little teapot for Pma

I'm not sure how often anybody checks this, but it is May 6, 2008 and P Ma took some great pictures of Kati!!! She's a performer for sure when it comes to her songs! She's a little teapot in this picture. I'm just stating a fact - she's adoreable! That may be the Mommy talking, but I'm just saying - Beautiful, amazing, funny, smart. I'm amazed every day at the things she does and can remember. She can say the Pledge of Allegiance all by herself!!!! She is a magnet with information!!! We are SO blessed to have her!

Blue eyes!!!!

Unlike her Mommy - she ACTS shy sometimes!!! She's our girl!!! A princess!
We went to Branson last weekend (for Uncle Jared's Birthday) and she had a BLAST!!! We plan to go camping next weekend - in a tent. It will be our first time for all of us.
She was reading a Halloween book in the car in Branson to P Ma and P Ma asked her if the witch would scare her, and she said, "NO - P Ma, the witch stays in the book." That was so cute! She's so literal!!! By the way, for those of you that know about children's tv shows... Kati is in to Max and Ruby now. We've been through - Doodlebops, Wiggles, Dora, and now Max and Ruby.
I hope all is well with everyone! Take care!

March 28, 2008

I won't be blogging for a while. I don't have time to keep it up, and I am sad to say, I don't have much to say. I do have some good pictures from Kati's 3rd birthday. I will try to update pictures from time to time, but I probably won't type much. We had 2 parties for Kati turning 3... a Dora party at school (which I didn't remember to take my camera to) and a Princess Party at the Park. I will put a few pictures now, and maybe more later. It was COLD at the park, but I know Kati had FUN! Have a great day! Jami

How innocent and sweet - I don't want anyone to think she was sad... She was ACTING shy! It's so funny to see her act shy.

Thank you for stopping by! J
