End of September?
GO HOGS!!!!

I can't believe we're at the END of September already! Kati is over the 18 month hump, and it's finally getting cool outside. This has me saying - Where did summer go? The end of summer always makes me sad. Sad that I missed out on one final lake day - swimming in the hot sun, but also happy - looking back at summers past. I try to reflect on this... but then another thought steals it away... September - I HAVE TO BUY this baby some clothes for FALL!!!! I looked through Kati's closet yesterday and said - EVERYTHING IS SUMMER!!! I LOVE summer clothes for girls! I'm not a big fall fan myself - so this is always a last minute thing. This has to be the last Sunday for all these cute summery dresses (I know it's after Labor Day - but I just love summer clothes). It may be a "FOE PA" or "Faux pas" (fo-pa) n. is to many a foreign word on the tounges of fashion snobs. ... to keep from being featured on one of those "Fashion Police" shows. ... I had to looke this one up... hehehe. I had to put my beautiful white slacks away when it was the first day after Labor Day - and thought, Why do I have to put my white pants away. COULD THEY PASS FOR WINTER WHITE? We really do make a big deal out of this. What about Sandals after Labor day? Someone answer this for me... can you wear sandals after Labor day? Ok for that and not for Sundresses? SOMEONE GIVE ME THE ANSWERS. Is there a book that will help me out here? My friend "D" is a fashion expert, with a masters in some kind of fashion... maybe I'll remember to ask her on our next phone conversation... we usually stick to talking about TV shows, Star/View, boys and work, but I'll try to sneak in some more important subjects like fashion advising. AND YES - I really did work in retail for 11 years! I was always 3 months ahead - putting coats out in July - and decorating for Christmas in September/October. We had our swimwear shop set by the week after Christmas!!!!
I know noone really reads my blog - it's really all about seeing new pictures of Kati - so I'll not hold out on you anymore, however - I will use this to say - GO HOGS!!!! She and Kris and I all sported our Razorback appearal Saturday (picture above).
I've been having trouble downloading pictures - so the next pictures are of the outfit we wore to church today. I hope you can see them...

Unfortunately, no relief on the white after labor day rule. However, this day and age seems to allow for a laisser faire attitude. My advice...wear what you want...but wear it with attitude! Much love...and Kati is gorgeous!
